Looking for a game? Can you believe the number one factor in people not playing tennis is that they can’t find anyone to play with? That is very unfortunate when you only need 1-3 to do so. Two opportunities present themselves at this time of year. First, many captains are looking for players for their USTA league teams. The teams need about 12-15 players, singles and doubles, to compete in the season which begins mid April and ends in July. Teams compete at the 3.0 (advanced beginner/intermediate) level through to 5.0 (tournament level). This spring, PRC will host 15 men’s teams (Saturday/Sunday) and 24 women’s teams.
Another opportunity to play is to join a seasonal contract group. Playing in a group during the indoor season is like having season tickets. It affords one an opportunity to play every week with a group at a particular time. Currently, court captains are looking for additional players for the contract courts next season.
