Tanay Patil, NJD #1 Boys 12 and his parents
Tanay Patil received his award for New Jersey #1 Ranked Junior Boys 12’s today at the USTA NJD Awards Luncheon. Congratulations to Tanay and all of the PRC juniors who have received district and sectional rankings and their parents and coaches. David Feigley, spokesman for the Rutgers Youth Sports Research Council, reminded the juniors to appreciate their parents for their support (providing transportation, time, nutrition, financial contributions) for practice and matches. He also emphasized how important losing is because of the lessons that can be learned in improving and how to handle losing like a champion. PRC will host approximately 24 USTA junior tournaments starting at the end of May.
