A Berger Open will be held on Monday, May 22 from 9:00-10:30 am. One of PRC’s most favorite event, women’s doubles teams are awarded “Berger” points for every winner hit to end the point. Berger cookies are the official cookie of Baltimore (vanilla wafer with a slab of dark chocolate on top). This is a wonderful exercise in evaluating if an offensive shot should be a winner (opponent’s racquet doesn’t touch the ball) or a forcing shot (opponent makes contact with the shot but isn’t able to put the ball back in play).
