Nicole Arendt, one of the area’s most successful and loved tennis professionals, visited the club on Friday. So many tennis enthusiasts enjoyed watching Nicole’s career blossom from a local high school star, college player and then an accomplished tour professional where she was a top doubles player. Currently, she is coaching in Australia. We are pleased that Nicole is donating her trophies from the Berlin and Brazil Opens (early 2000’s). They are beautiful awards and will be displayed at the club. If you have ever heard comments about Nic, the most common ones describe her qualities as an outstanding person, rather than player – so humble, friendly and grounded.
