It’s not Too Hot for Game Drills!

While the campers (children) were playing tennis indoors, women participating in singles match play, 4.0 drill and 3.0and 3.5 clinics worked hard outside in hot temperatures.  Also impressive was the group who moved consistently under Mansour’s direction. Kudos to Catherine, Kiu Ling, Lorraine, Michelle, and Sandy.

Stars and Stripes are the Best!

Forty women participated in the 4th of July Fed Cup held today, dressing in red, white and blue.  Rather than representing countries, the teams earned points for their team related to 4th of July.  Final standing points:  Firecrackers (265), Rockettes (277), Sparklers (280) and congratulations to the Stars and Stripes (287).  Everyone celebrated with toasting the USA (with…

The second week of singles match play was a huge success.  Players have expressed appreciation for all of Coach Judy’s tips and the opportunity to meet and play other singles players.  Email Judy if you are interested in playing next Friday.

Congratulations 4.0 Evening Team

Tennis Junkies

The PRC Tennis Junkies finished the season in 2nd place after  a hard fought 12-10 loss to In the Pink on Thursday night.  This was the first season that the evening USTA 4.0 league used the new point scoring system .  Thanks to captain Laurie Decker and congratulations to the team.

Judy gave a little extra hug to Mine today. Prayers and best wishes to our friends in Turkey. Safe travels to Mine, who will be visiting her family next week. 

Campers are Well Balanced at PRC 

Some of the campers were being stretched out and worked on balance at PRC this morning. Camp is off to a great start. It’s not too late to register for the upcoming weeks.
