Beautiful Morning at PRC!

After what seemed to be a month of rain, twenty women ventured outside in cloudy and windy conditions for match play this morning.  Everyone was so grateful to get some tennis played and the matches were exciting.  Thanks to Maria for making the courts playable and in super shape.

Spring Into Summer!

Friday was an Event-full Day

The weather was gorgeous and events included an USTA match with the Cosmos vs the Force, singles and doubles match plays, Game Drills, a Middle States USPTA Workshop and a cake!  Thanks to Bettina, who provided a delicious birthday cake for Cos and everyone for their nice birthday wishes.

USPTA Coaches Workshop at PRC

Princeton Racquet Club hosted the first Middle States USPTA Women’s Group Event featuring Emma Doyle, Australian High Performance Coach and Motivational Speaker on Friday.  A Coaches Workshop was held from noon – 3:00 pm followed by a training clinic for girls.  Judy Young, PRC Coach, was in attendance with approximately 20 other teaching professionals.

Happy Birthday, Mary

One of the most special areas at PRC is the Memorial Garden, located behind Clay court #1.  There are trees planted in memory of very special friends who frequented the PRC courts and were an inspiration to many players at the club.  Thanks to Jacinta Samuel for her dedication to making the garden so pretty.…

A New Warm Up

Celebrating a Birthday and a Singles Victory

The PRC Drop Shot Divas welcomed the glorious weather and competed in the USTA 3.5 18 and over league today vs Mercer Motley.  Congratulations to Mary Reath, who celebrated her 70th birthday yesterday, and then earned a victory in singles after coming back and winning a third set tiebreaker.  Way to go, Mary.
