TGIF for Singles

The Friday singles program has blossomed into one of PRC most beloved leagues.  Since the summer, the singles players have improved so much.  Thanks to Coach Judy and all of the players.  Even the doubles players are impressed!

Halloween Berger Open is Treat

Mixed Doubles Fun on Weekends

The Mixed Doubles Leagues are underway at PRC.  The popular and very social Friday night 8:00-10:30 pm league is for Advanced players (4.0-4.5) and is directed by Laurie Decker.  A new Mixed Doubles league is being offered on Saturdays 8:30-10:30 pm for 3.0-3.5 players and will be run by Doris Manahan.  Players can sign up…

Triple Fun on Saturday Evenings

The indoor USTA women’s Tri Level League will begin on Saturday, October 21st and end in March.  The league is very unique in that women who are rated three different playing levels comprise one team.  A team match consists of three doubles teams which compete at 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0.  It is a fun way…

Grumpy Old Men Headed to Nationals

Congratulations to the “Grumpy Old Men” who won the USTA 7.0 65 and over division at MS Sectional Championships.  The team, captained by Peter Wepplo, practiced hard on the clay courts through the summer and were back this week after the tournament.  Good luck at Nationals.
