PRC Celebrates St Patrick’s Day

The Top of the Morning started with Mary Monaghan’s homemade Irish soda bread and treats, followed by cupcakes delivered by leprechauns Judy and M.  Thanks to everyone who wore green and helped to make the day so much fun.

Sweet Spots at PRC

What a nice act of friendship by Nancy Hodges on Friday.  Nancy goes to a manicurist who is Portuguese and doesn’t have many friends in the area.  So Nancy treated Maria, who has been working outside on the courts and landscaping, to a manicure and Maria was able to bring much joy to the manicurist…

“Courting” Friendship

Peter Cohen is a frequent player seen on the courts at PRC – either working hard on his game in drills or playing on seasonal contract time.  Today, he shared memories with Tom Chestnut, a childhood and college friend, regarding their years on a different court – basketball.  Tom was in town with his teammates from…

Up For Sundays

Judging by all of the activity at PRC, Sunday is not a day of rest!  Men’s groups filled the courts at 6:30 am, followed a badminton group at 7:30 am and then more adults and a dedicated group of juniors who were working hard with Palash.  Great day for indoor tennis!

Record Setting Day for Fun

What a treat to be able to enjoy the record setting warm temps by playing outside on the hard courts on February 24th.  Years from now, these players will remember their game of outside tennis.  Players from Game Drills, Triad, private lessons, Friday match play and men’s round robin kept the courts full throughout the…

A Birthday to Remember

How nice to have record high temps on February 24th!  Meryl, one of the friendly desk receptionists, celebrated her birthday surrounded by lots of tennis friends on a very spring like day.  Best wishes for a Happy Birthday, Meryl.

We Miss You Satoko!

Cos, Judy, Lauren and Maria received a surprise visitor today when Akitaka Kimura stopped by the club.  Of course, our first question was where is Sato?  So the first photo shows how disappointed Cos and Judy were to find out that Sato stayed in Japan.  Sato, being the kind and thoughtful person she is, sent delicious…

PRC is Everywhere

Judy and Cos aren’t the only ones in Hilton Head this week. Judy and Auggie were happy to see Doreen, a member of the PRC family,  after one of the presentations at the PTR Symposium. Have a fun vacation, Doreen.

“A” Birthday Party Continues

The Wednesday A Team enjoyed lunch and joining in the celebration for Lori Perdigao.  Birthdays and tennis with friends just go perfectly together.
