The spring program for Pickleball starts this week. If you haven’t had the opportunity to try the fastest growing sport in the country, it is not too late. Pickleball is a combination of tennis, ping pong and badminton. It is played on a smaller tennis court, with a paddle and hard whiffle ball. Players are encouraged to go toward the net and the game is quick with a lot of volleys.
New players, as well as experienced players, can attend the Pickleball leagues at PRC because there is always a pro available to provide pointers, fill in and assist. Pickleball is held indoors during the spring and offered Monday 2:00 pm, Thursday at 8:00 am, 12:30 pm, 7:30 pm Saturday 3;30 pm and Sunday 12:30 pm. Paddles and balls are available for your use. PRC is using MeetUp for players to sign up for Pickleball play. Go to Meetup.com or download the app on your phone. It is a free and convenient way to see the schedule, sign up for play and see other players who are in the group. Our group is called the Greater Princeton Area Pickleball group.
