The first Fed Cup of the summer was a historical event! We have had one point differences between teams ending first or second, but never had two teams tied for first! Because of the upcoming holiday, team names had a 4th of July theme instead of countries. Congratulations to the members of the Fireworks and Independents, who both earned 224 points.
