Summer is for Singles

Plentiful outdoor courts makes the summer a wonderful time to play and practice singles.  Coach Judy organizes great matches with coaching tips (and sometimes drills) on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 8:00-9:30 am.  If you would like to learn singles strategy or prep for district championships, contact Coach Judy.

Friday for Warriors

The PRC courts were full of warriors this morning. The 2.5 Sweet Warriors and the 3.0 Sweet Warriors both played their USTA matches. Congratulations to the 3.0 team who swept their opponents.

PRC Sweet Warriors vs PRC Partners

Two PRC teams, Sweet Warriors and the Partners, competed against each other in the USTA 3.0 18 and over today during partly sunny and breezy conditions on the clay courts.  Each team won 2 courts and all of the doubles matches went to third set tiebreakers – very exciting and great tennis.

I Love Tiebreakers!

The members of the PRC Supreme Court demonstrated their mental toughness while practicing tiebreakers outside in very cold temperatures yesterday.  The clinic yielded great results as Deb won her singles match 7-6, 6-7, 10-7 and Roberta and Lynn won their first USTA match in the third set tiebreaker.  Best wishes to all of the captains…

PRC USTA 2.5 Start

PRC Slammers 3.5 League Champions
