3.5 Teams at Home

TGIF For the 3.5 Teams

What an exciting match to start the season for Sue Gunther’s USTA 3.5 18 team on Friday!  Three of the four matches were decided by a third set tiebreaker.  Good luck to both PRC teams and thanks to captains, Sue and Nancy Kenkelen (PRC Topspinners).

Triple Fun on Saturday Evenings

Congratulations to the “Grumpy Old Men” who won the USTA 7.0 65 and over division at MS Sectional Championships.  The team, captained by Peter Wepplo, practiced hard on the clay courts through the summer and were back this week after the tournament.  Good luck at Nationals.

PRC Aces Finalists in 3.5 Championships

The PRC Aces, winners of the 3.5 USTA 40 and over Winter League and champions of Flight 1 at District Championships, lost a close match today in the finals. Four of five matches ended in a 2nd set tiebreaker. Congratulations to the team for their year long accomplishments and thanks to captain Beth.
