Prayers for Our Japanese Family

      Many of the PRC family were worried for Shizuna and Satoko upon hearing the news of the earthquake in Japan. We are relieved that they have replied that they are safe. We hope the same for all of our other friends and the people in Japan and send our prayers and thoughts. 

Sweet Start for the PRC 2.5 Team

   The PRC Sweet Spots warmed up with Coach Mansour and then proceeded to win their first USTA 2.5 Adult League match. The team is having fun and looks forward to more fun matches together.

Once a year, the most colorful group of women at PRC (members of the Monday and Wednesday B team), visit Diane in Vero Beach.  They have a blast together but the tradeoff is that they must wear white tennis wear to the tennis club.  What a fun time to dress in the classic tennis fashion.

Spring for Junior and Adult Lessons

The spring session for junior and adult tennis programs begins on Monday, April 11th. Private and group lessons and leagues will be conducted outdoors on the hard or clay courts and indoors as well.  Please visit the front desk or the website for online registration for clinics.

Everyone will recognize a familiar face at PRC this week.  Welcome back to Raj, long time teaching professional, who just returned from an extended vacation in India with his wife and daughter.  Raj enjoyed playing tennis everyday with his friends, when he wasn’t introducing his daughter to relatives.

Volley Vets at Nationals

Congratulations to the Volley Vets, who competed this weekend in Arizona at the USTA 7.0 65 and over National Championships.  The team was undefeated in Flight 4, winning 3 matches and then lost 2-1 (by a 3rd set tiebreaker) to eventual champion, Hawaii.  What a fabulous experience!
