No Holiday on Court 2

The participants of the 9:00 and 10:30 Game Drills today elected to spend the NY Day Holiday working hard to improve their tennis strokes, burn off some calories and work on movement skills. The gyms were probably full as well, but it’s very likely that the smiles and laughter were more plentiful on court 2, under the direction…

Game For the Holidays

Lots of action on the tennis courts over the holidays, and none more fun than Game Drills with coach Mansour.  Game Drills is a combination of CardioTennis and tennis related games – high intensity, consistent movement, with some focus on strokes, placement and movement – all packaged with FUN!  Another great aspect of Game Drills…

Gone Crackers!

Thanks to Helena Carr, it has become an annual holiday tradition to gather round and pop our crackers each Christmas.  What great fun we all had and then enjoyed crowning ourselves.  It even takes teamwork to pop the crackers.  Hope your holiday provides as many laughs as we shared.

Early Gift – Presence on the Tennis Court

Lots of women gave themselves an early gift by taking time out of their busy schedules to compete on the Monday Central Jersey Travel League and the Monday 9:30 and 12:30 match plays.  Congratulations to the B team as well as Julia and Helen, who won the 12:30 Round Robin tournament. Clinics will be held…

Holiday Treat and Surprise Arrives Early

Wendy Shilling traveled north from her new home in Delaware and surprised everyone at PRC today – what a treat!  Wendy looks wonderful and promises to visit again (in tennis clothes)!

PRC Staff Party Draws a Lot of Laughs

The PRC Christmas Party was another fun event for all the staff and their friends and family.  After enjoying a delicious meal, the staffs divided up and for another lively, competitive game of Pictionary (an annual main event). Thanks to all of those who attended.

Match Game

There was a lot of colorful footwork on court 3 today at 9:30 am during Judy’s drill.  Today’s Match Game Riddle is to match the shoes with the players on the court.  Choices:  Andrea, Celeste, Judy, Lori and Vidya.  Answer:  check back tomorrow!

Welcome back Helen!

It’s sad when our snow birds head south for the winter, but it’s also fun when they return for a visit.  Lots of fun having Helen P back on the courts during the holiday season enjoying drills and match play.

Reunion Week Continues

It has been like reunions at PRC this week.  Earlier in the week, Terry and Carol visited and today, Jacinta and Deb returned to the courts together.  We are grateful for their safe return, especially Jacinta and Derrick, who experienced the earthquake in New Zealand before returning to the states.
