Support Team for Tournament Competitors

The Garden State Open, a USTA sanctioned SR junior event, was held this weekend at PRC.  Thanks to Dennis, tournament director, Adam and Sean, tournament assistants, and all of the parents who supported the event and competitors.  It was a wonderful event, enjoyed by everyone.  The weather, sportsmanship and tennis was great.

Winners on April 20th

Congratulations to all of the women who played outside today in match play and the USTA 3.0 40 and over match.  Everyone was victorious over the conditions – chilly temps, windy and for many, the first time playing outside.  What a wonderful tennis experience to remember – awesome display of mental toughness.

Well-staffed Christmas Party

The PRC administrative, facility and teaching staff members and their families gathered last night for the annual Christmas party.  Delicious food and wonderful times together were a prelude to another competitive and fun Pictionary game.  By the way, the “older” staff members schooled the younger generation… Thanks to Judy and M for transforming the nursery…

Pickleball Fun at Junior Camp

Junior campers had a blast playing some pickleball on a rainy morning on court 2.  The teaching pros demonstrated positioning, tactics and explained the scoring and rules.  Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in the US.  It is very fast and can improve tennis player’s net play and reactions.
