Tulips Win Good Friday Fed Cup

The first Fed Cup of the spring season was a huge success on a beautiful morning today.  Twenty four women competed on four teams.  Congratulations to the the Tulips, who earned 172 points and won by 1 point over the Bunnies – proving the motto of Fed Cup, “every point counts”.  Match play will be…

Good Friday for Tennis

The courts were occupied all morning, with players from contracts, some USTA matches and Friday match play.  Conditions were perfect – inside and out!

Raj is Back!

Raj Pyla, PRC long time teaching pro,  has returned from his trip to India and is now available for privates and group lessons.  Welcome back, Raj.

Left Wing Majority

This morning at 8 am, four of the five players who arrived were lefties.  Often lefties enjoy playing opponents who don’t realize that they are playing a left handed player until late or never in a match.  It’s always fun to ask a lefty if they realize that they were playing a lefty!

Happy Birthday Kathy and Joyce

The Wednesday/Thursday group drilled and then celebrated Kathy and Joyce’s birthdays today.  Best wishes to Kathy, Joyce and our other PRC members who enjoy April birthdays.

Good Start for Slices and Volleys

Tuesday was a perfect day for the first match of the USTA 3.5 40 and over league.  The PRC Slice Girls and Volley Girls competed outside under sunny skies with very little breeze.
